At UpClose we strive to accommodate all of our clients needs. For many clients we create the artwork for their printed pieces, and then there are some that do their own creating and provide us a disk with their artwork. With many graphic software options and software becoming less complicated and less costly, more and more of our clients are creating graphic design pieces in their office.
When providing artwork on disk or CD there are specifications and file information needed in order for UpClose to efficiently output the artwork. In our graphic design department we support both IBM compatible and Macintosh and many different softwares in their most recent versions.
IBM Compatible:
PageMaker, Word, Microsoft Publisher
Macintosh:
PageMaker, Quark Xpress, Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Graphic files should be provided as TIFF or EPS files. Full color images and photos for 4-color process printing must be CYMK mode, not RGB. A hard copy from your file to your printer is needed so we may compare our output to yours to make sure nothing is lost in translation from one system to another.
Our graphic designers, Shelley or Andre are available to help you with preparing a disk or CD to submit your artwork to UpClose.
